Consul-General Takes Your Questions

Dear friends,

The People's Republic of China was founded in 1949. During the past 60 years, China's economy has witnessed a tremendous development and people's living standard has been greatly improved, which draw attention from all over the world.

Since China and South Africa established the diplomatic relations in 1998, both countries have been always attaching great importance to bilateral cooperation and exchanges, and the two peoples have been keen to know more about each other. Up to now, the KZN provincial government and local municipalities have established 7 sister-province or sister-city relations with China, which has made great contribution to bilateral relations, as well as the friendship between the two peoples.

In order to increase the mutual understanding between the two countries and peoples, Mr. Liu Yantao, the Consul-General of China in Durban, is willing to answer your questions about the history, social development, government policies of China etc., and introduce you the real China.
