|Consul General Fei Mingxing Visits Shu Powders|
On 4th July 2019, Consul General Fei Mingxing visited Shu Powders near Petermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal Province.
General Manager Michael Oehlers and staff warmly welcomed Fei Mingxing and his entourage. With detailed data, he made an indepth presentation on the factory development, business achievements, staff training as well as safety, health and environmental compliance. Afterwards, Fei Mingxing and his group toured the administration area, warehouse, cobalt powder production lines, laboratory, hydrogen and nitrogen production workshop and staff canteen.
Fei MingXing congratulated the factory on its outstanding performance, praised the factory for its sophisticated equipment, fine management and contribution to local community. He also commended the factory a case of success of "Belt and Road Initiative" cooperation between China and South Africa and encouraged it to play increasingly important role in international cobalt industry.
Shu Powders was established in Sichuan Province, China and later relocated to KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. It mainly produces cobalt powder with its major holder GEM (Jingmen) Green New Materials Co. Ltd.
