|Consul General Fei Mingxing Meets with Aumsen Singh|
On 7th August 2019, Consul General Fei Mingxing welcomed Mr. Aumsen Singh, former Member of Parliament and Co-Chairperson of the Joint Committee on Ethics and Member Interests of South African Parliament to the Consulate General in Durban. Deputy Consul-General Ding Qiao was present.
Fei Mingxing briefed Aumsen Singh on the great achievements made during the 70 years since its founding of the People's Republic of China, especially in its 41 years of reform and opening up, China's Africa policy of "sincerity, practical results, affinity and good faith" and cooperation projects between China and South Africa in investment, tourism, vocational education and training in KwaZulu Natal Province. He expressed his appreciation to Aumsen Singh for his strong support to Sino-South Africa cooperation and hoped that he would continue playing a proactive role in building a shared future of China and South Africa community.
Aumsen Singh thanked Fei Mingxing for his invitation and said the great achievements of the People's Republic of China and the hardworking spirit and innovation of the Chinese people has set a good example for South Africa and Africa at large. He wishes South Africa embark on a road of sustainable development with the help of a good partner like China and commits himself to promoting friendship and practical cooperation between two countries.
